Overview
Sprawling basalt and calcite waves adorn the magnificent tiles of the Rio collection from European Tiles. The clever contrast of black and white conjures images of the dramatic surf of the Copacabana seafront, and the juxtaposition of dark and light is a striking reminder of the stone found on the city’s beach. This bold tile, which is ideal for sophisticated, contemporary bathroom interiors, is characterised by its very large size.
The Inkjet ceramic technology used to create the tile produces a high number of different graphics, each with an aesthetic effect that is always varied and never repetitive. The uneven designs ensure maximum appeal and reveal the great depth and intensity of the colours that come in three magnificent shades; a light grey Princess, a slighter darker version Duke, and a deeper Emperor.
A polished and matt version are available, all rectified to create a seamless flowing continuity to your bathroom.
The Rio collection is part of the EXTRAordinary range so called because the slab tile, at 160X320cm, is one of the largest on the market, but at only 6mm thick it is surprisingly light. Other large sizes include the 160x160, 120X240, and 120X120 cm, passing through to range of intermediate sizes at 80x160, 60x120, 60X60 and 80X80 cm. The EXTRAordinary range also includes a beautiful Marmi Statuario tile.
