This Crosswater Design 8 Double Panel 8mm Bath Screen 1060mm Silver features a frameless toughened 6mm glass outward-opening panel, connected to a semi-frameless fixed panel with an anodised aluminium profile and a reversible design with 20mm adjustment for an incredibly strong bath screen that's easy to install, a pleasure to use, and effortless to clean.
Designed to be fitted to the bathroom wall and sit squarely on the edge of the bath, this clever design can be fully extended when required or folded back to make it less obtrusive. High quality engineering combined with exacting build quality come together to add another dimension to bath time. Doubling up the bath space allows you take an invigorating shower before starting the day and as part of the Crosswater design 8 range, you will never tire of its flexibility and sheer good looks.
The framework and profiles are made from tough but lightweight aluminium which is polished to a high lustre giving the appearance of chrome. At 8mm, the glass is class-leading and has also been coated with Crosswater's water-resistant finish which actively repels water and grime. The fixed panel is held firmly in place with the use of a sturdy top-mounted bracing bar giving you a totally stable installation.
The Crosswater Design 8 Range
As one of Crosswaters most popular collections the Design 8 Range is intelligently built across an extensive range of enclosure door options and sizes, as well as bathscreens. As a premium 8mm glass range* the Design 8 Collection has become a contemporary classic in its field. A simple and sleek semi-frameless form with strong 8mm toughened, and high performance hardware is finished in Matt Black or Silver anodised aluminium. The entire Design 8 range comes with Crosswater Clear glass protection as standard- this invisible coating allows water and hard water deposits to simply slide off, to help prevent limescale build up and staining making it much easier to clean without having to resort to abrasive cleaners.
In terms of shower enclosures the Design 8 range is suitable for either a shower tray or tiled floor installation and has an array of expertly designed features which make these enclosures market leading. The watertight magnetic door seals are supplied in either clear and black, to perfectly match the 2 available finishes, and the high-performance, easy-clean, internal flush-fit hinges with these cleverly designed door seals guarantee no leaks. The slim modern design of the bracing bars and wall profiles are enhanced by the concealed fixings, given the enclosures a sleek finish, and the quick release bottom catches make for easy cleaning. Installation wise, all the Design 8 enclosures have a 25mm adjustment for easy fitting and are suitable for trays with a minimum ledge of 60mm or tiled floors within a wet room space, the shower doors are also reverisble for left or right handing to accomodate your installation needs.
Similarly the Design 8 Bathscreens offers a lot of the same great features as the enclosures. Available in Matt black or a Silver anodised aluminium finish you can co-ordinate your bathscreen with matching taps and shower sets from across the Crosswater brassware ranges. Every Design 8 Bathscreens are fully reversible for left or right hand entry to your bath as required, and thats to the rise and fall hinges they also offer both inward and outward opening rotation from 90° to 270° depending on the model you choose. The sleek design is finished with concealed profiles to enhance the minimal and sophisicated style.
