WAREHOUSE STOCKTAKE ANNOUNCEMENT

Our warehouse will be closed from Monday 22nd August until Friday 26th August due to our annual stocktake. Please note that during this time, we will not be able to facilitate any site deliveries or warehouse collections.

WHAT IS A STOCKTAKE AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

Our main stocktake takes place once a year. This is when we count all of the stock in the warehouse and ensure it is located correctly on the system. There are many reasons why regular stocktaking is important:

⦁ Stocktaking provides us with information that allows us to optimise our stock management processes, including key procedures like processing sales, booking in deliveries, returning stock to suppliers, and so on.

⦁ Making sure stock levels are accurate will prevent over/under-ordering and ensures that we can plan with confidence and provide better customer service.
