Client brief

The client wanted to convert a compact loft eaves space into a streamlined, high-spec powder room. Key requirements included maximising every inch of limited floor and head space under the skylight, incorporating modern luxury technology, and elevating the small footprint with warm brushed bronze accents.

The process

We designed a space-efficient layout tailored to the room's sloping roofline and tight dimensions. To keep the floor area completely clear and create an open, uncluttered feel, we specified wall-hung fixtures throughout, including a compact Saneux washbasin with an exposed brushed bronze bottle trap. We integrated high-tech features such as a Vitra V-Care smart toilet and Thermosphere underfloor heating, layering the space with subtle warm LED strip lighting to softly illuminate the room's architectural angles.

What we did

Smart WC & Built-In Cistern: Specified a Vitra V-Care Smart WC Comfort wall-hung pan with an Oli concealed cistern and a matching Just Taps pneumatic flush plate in brushed bronze.

Compact Basin & Brushed Bronze Brassware: Supplied a space-saving Saneux Matteo washbasin paired with a Just Taps Kono single-lever basin mixer, waste, and matching exposed bottle trap in brushed bronze.

Underfloor Heating & Digital Controls: Integrated Thermosphere self-adhesive electric underfloor heating controlled by a smart WiFi programmable thermostat.

Architectural Feature Lighting: Installed Aurora IP67 warm white LED line strip lighting to highlight the room’s unique alcoves and contours.

Cohesive Accessories: Finished the space with a matching Just Taps Kono brushed bronze toilet roll holder.
