Big Luxury in a Small Footprint

We wanted that boutique hotel feel, but extending the en-suite wasn’t an option. Instead of playing it safe with plain white, we leaned into the cosy dimensions. By pairing deep, glossy blue herringbone tiles with brushed brass fixtures, the space suddenly felt intentional and rich, like a jewel box. The floating sink keeps the floor visible, and a frameless glass shower screen ensures the eye travels all the way to the back wall, proving you don't need square footage to make a massive statement.

Transforming the Awkward Cloakroom

Under-stair toilets and narrow hallway cloakrooms often feel like an afterthought, claustrophobic and cramped. Our goal here was to draw the eye up. We installed striking green textured tiles vertically on the bottom half, leaving the top half a crisp, bright white to cheat the ceiling height. Swapping a bulky pedestal basin for a sleek, wall-mounted sink saved precious inches, giving guests room to breathe without sacrificing style.

Warmth and Wellness in a Compact Space

The original bathroom felt cold and cluttered. We desperately needed a sanctuary to unwind in, but we had to be clever about storage. We swapped out heavy cabinets for a floating ribbed-wood vanity that adds incredible warmth and texture. By utilising the wall cavities to create recessed, backlit shower niches, we kept our daily essentials organised and off the floor. The soft pink tiles and glowing mirror turn this tight layout into a daily spa experience.

Maximalism for the Mini Bathroom

Guest bathrooms are the perfect place to be brave! This room is tiny, basically a closet, and trying to make it look 'bigger' with pale colours just made it look dull. We decided to embrace the small scale and go for full drama. Dark, moody vertical tiles ground the space, while a bold tropical wallpaper brings a massive burst of personality. Paired with a space-saving corner-style floating basin, it’s now our favourite room to show off to visitors.

Breaking Down the Barriers

A standard, chunky shower tray completely broke up the visual flow of our narrow bathroom, making it feel chopped in half. The solution was simple but transformative: a wet room layout. By running the beautiful, neutral stone-look tiles continuously across the floor and straight into the shower, the footprint instantly felt doubled. The single glass panel stops water splashes without acting as a visual wall, creating a seamless, airy environment.

Hiding the Clutter in Plain Sight

Clutter is the absolute enemy of a small bathroom; just a few bottles on the sink make the whole room feel chaotic. To combat this, we focused entirely on hidden, vertical storage. We designed custom built-in upper cabinets that blend perfectly into the soft green walls so they don't feel heavy. Below, a compact wood vanity adds warmth, while the gorgeous natural-toned herringbone tiles draw you in. It’s a masterclass in keeping a tiny space serene and organised.

The Hardworking Family Sanctuary

We had one family bathroom to work with, meaning it had to handle chaotic kids' bath times and serve as a relaxing evening retreat for adults. Combining the shower and bath was a necessary space-saver, but we elevated the look with dark, earthy, textured wall tiles that feel instantly calming. The real hero is the large, backlit circular mirror, it bounces light from the window beautifully during the day and provides moody, soft lighting for a long soak at night.
