Client brief

The homeowners wanted to transform their space into a tranquil, botanical-inspired sanctuary that combined rich leafy tones with modern luxury. They envisioned a layout that could accommodate both a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower without feeling cramped, alongside wall-hung elements to keep the floor area open and clear. Key priorities included bringing warmth through brushed brass accents and creating a clear contrast between deep botanical green finishes and soft neutral textures.

The process

We planned a space-maximising layout that unifies the shower and bathing area into an open end-of-room wet zone. By specifying half-height tiling through the main room, we left the upper walls free for painted botanical green tones that elevate the ceiling height and introduce rich colour. We selected large-format concrete-effect tiles for the walls and floor to establish a clean, contemporary base, then layer-matched every brassware fixture, from the shower screen profiles to the bath filler, in consistent brushed brass for a cohesive finish.

What we did

Unified Wet-Room Bathing Zone: Designed a dedicated end wet area combining a 1500mm Crosswater Carne matt white freestanding bath with a walk-in shower, framed by an Abacus 10mm glass screen in brushed brass channels.

Integrated Brassware Suite: Specified an Ava Trend 3-way thermostatic valve powering an Ava 250mm overhead shower, integrated hand shower kit, and an extended bath overflow filler in brushed brass.

Concrete-Effect Tiling: Supplied European Tiles Concrete White Matt 60x60cm wall and floor tiles, grouted in Mapei Moon White for a smooth, continuous surface.

Streamlined Sanitaryware & Heating: Installed a wall-hung Faeber Zero matt white rimless toilet pan and an AVA Purity right-handed brushed brass heated towel rail to maintain clear floor space.
